These terms apply to all work carried out by PH Blue Ltd for residential and commercial customers. By instructing us to carry out work, whether by phone, email, message, or signed quote, you agree to these terms.
Quotes
Written quotes are valid for 30 days. Unless explicitly stated as “estimate”, a written quote is a fixed price for the work described. If the scope changes during the job (additional faults found, customer-requested changes), we’ll discuss the cost impact with you and seek your approval before proceeding.
Payment
For domestic customers: payment is due on completion of the work. We accept bank transfer, card, and cash. Larger jobs (over £2,000) may require a deposit at scheduling and a stage payment at first-fix; this will be set out in the quote.
Warranty
- Boiler installs: manufacturer warranty (typically 7–10 years on Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, and Viessmann), plus 12 months on our workmanship.
- Heat pump installs: manufacturer warranty plus a 24-month workmanship warranty as required by MCS.
- Repairs: 30-day warranty on the specific fault repaired.
- Bathroom installs: 12 months on our workmanship; manufacturer warranties on specific items.
Manufacturer warranties require the appliance to be serviced annually by us or any Gas Safe registered engineer. Skipping a service typically voids the warranty.
Cancellation
You can cancel a scheduled job by giving us at least 48 hours’ notice with no charge. Within 48 hours, we may charge for time committed and any non-returnable parts ordered for the job.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for any work is limited to putting right the defect or, where that’s not possible, refunding the cost of the work. We carry £5m public liability insurance for circumstances beyond that.
Disputes
If you’re unhappy with anything, talk to us first. We’d rather fix it than argue about it. Our complaints procedure is on the complaints page. As a Checkatrade-approved trader, you can also escalate via Checkatrade’s resolution service.
