PH Blue Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller for personal information you share with us through this website, by phone, by email, or in person. We are committed to handling your data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Information you give us via our forms (name, phone, email, postcode, job description)
- Information you give us by phone, WhatsApp or email when arranging a job
- Records of work carried out (invoices, certificates, warranty registrations)
- Anonymous usage data via Google Analytics 4 (with your consent)
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and provide you with a quote
- To carry out work you’ve booked with us
- To register manufacturer warranties and notify Building Regulations
- To follow up after a job (review request, service reminder)
- To meet our legal obligations (Gas Safe, HMRC, accident records)
Who we share it with
We share your data with third parties only when necessary to deliver the work: Gas Safe Register, manufacturers (for warranty registration), local authority Building Control. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Records of completed work are kept for 7 years (HMRC requirements). Quote-stage data that doesn’t lead to a booking is deleted within 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner. We’ll do so unless we’re legally required to retain it.
Your rights
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: ask us to fix anything that’s wrong
- Deletion: ask us to remove your data (subject to legal retention)
- Objection: ask us to stop using your data for marketing
- Complaint: to us first, or to the Information Commissioner’s Office
